In this intensive class, actors will be assigned scenes to work on over the course of four weeks. The first three weeks will focus on detailed rehearsal, where we will break down the text and explore character development slowly and methodically. During the third week, we’ll concentrate on blocking to prepare for the final class.

The final class will give actors the opportunity to perform their scene for a one-time take in front of the camera, filmed in a long shot by Terra. This exercise mirrors the experience of arriving on set at your highest level of preparation, ready to deliver your best performance in the first take.

Full class fee is due upon registration, payable through Venmo. Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

There is a paid underground parking garage located at 1110 N. Western Ave with a valet attendant. It’s $5, payable through cash or Venmo (scan at the valet stand). Once you park, go around the corner to the Santa Monica entrance (the Western entrance is closed) - we are on the second floor. There is elevator access. There is also some street parking in the area, but it can be tricky. There should be plenty of room in the garage, but space is not guaranteed so please give yourself enough time to find parking.
