Join us for an informal, invited presentation of Sam Ciavarella and Brandon Ciavarella’s feature screenplay, The Star of Bethlehem, after being workshopped in Terra Mackintosh’s March In Process class.

“After the death of her rich grandmother, Halley is forced to return to her hometown of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and perform in the church's Nativity Play alongside her estranged mother, Celeste. Halley must find a way to mend the relationship with her mother before the final curtain call on Christmas Eve or she can kiss her inheritance goodbye.”

In Process is structured as a month-long workshop for a selected script, designed as a tool for writers who are looking for support in developing their play or screenplay, as well as actors who are interested in a scene study class focused on new material. Sam and Brandon will introduce the material, share what stage of development it’s in, and guide the audience through the scenes as the actors perform.
